EC 301: History of Economic Thought
A survey of the content and method of economics and an analysis of the
theories of the great economists from the ancient Greeks to the
present: mercantilism, physiocracry, the classical school and its
critics, particulary Marx; the amrginalist school; Alfred Marshall
and Keynes, recent developments in economic thought.
Prerequisites: 251 and 252.
